Alien Wars (2001)

It's the first game or program written (more) by my elder brother and (less by) me. It was programmed in Quick Basic and was a 16-Bit space shooter (Galaxian like) game. Our hard disk has crashed 2-3 time since then and all the floppies we backed up it on have got corrupted so I think there is practically no way you're going to see this in action. I slightly remember we had uploaded it some games website but I couldn't find it now.

Dark Power (2001)

Our first 32-Bit Windows game.  Again like all the games, it was too written by my elder brother with some help by me. Nice (the one you say for your first) game with borrowed graphics and sound. Head over to it's web page for more information. It was also featured on  a website called GameMasti.com.

Digital Arts (2001)

Our first website on games and game development using Game Maker. I think the name is a trademark of some company, sorry to them :-(

Balloon Travel (2001)

Our second game. Quite nice and addictive with many levels.

Monster Ball (2002)

Nice game.

Cannon Commander (2002)

Our first isometric 3D game, not very good.

Jungle Man (2003)

Nice game.

Bubble Trouble (2003)

Nice and addictive. Idea borrowed from a successful game.

Some other example games (2002-2004)

Alien Killer, Dev and Super Shooter, we created this as examples peoples can use to learn game programming. All of these three along with a few others were distributed as source codes. These require a special software (in which they're programmed) called Game Maker to play or edit.

My First Website (2004)

I'd like not to talk much about it since it no longer exists and the domain name may also belong to someone else.

Learning Computer Programming (2007)

My first blog, related to programming. I had registered it on Blogger back in 2006 but didn't post anything. It's only in 2007 did I start posting regularly.

Easy Freeware Downloads (2007)

A blog on Free Software Downloads.

Flavours Of India (2008)

A blog on food recipes etc. of India. I outsource its content from writers who know this way better than myself. As a side note, I'd like to add that I cannot even make a cup of tea let alone cooking! Why I started this? Maybe because I thought I could find writers easily.

MyWapBlog.com (2008)

A mobile blogging platform designed from scratch in PHP and MySQL (for data storage). The platform (code) has not been made public yet but the service is freely available to anyone at MyWapBlog.com. I'm currently working on it and try to release new versions every now and then.

Multi-Mirror Download Accelerator (2008)

We haven't thought a name for it hence the long descriptive name.

I have a BSNL 2 MbPS broadband connection which downloads files at about 200-250 KBPS, fine but there is one problem the alloted bandwidth for one month is 1.5 GB which runs out faster than you can take the time to check. So we Download large file in the night (when transfers are not counted towards the monthly allotment). Still there is a problem, the irritably slow speeds. So I and my brother created this!Joint

This download accelerator can not only use multiple connections to a server (like most accelerators do) but unlike them it can also connection to multiple mirrors. Throw in some 10-15 mirrors and it can pull the file in through whooping 100-150 concurrent connections. Even when used at night it gives full speeds. Thanks to this we could not only Download CDs but DVDs like Fedora Linux (3.3 GB).

You want this? Sorry but you'll have to wait. The current version has many irritable bugs that makes it quite unusable at times. We can manage it as we have created it but before making it public we will have to fix all the bugs and make some improvements. When? Frankly speaking, as our problem is solved (pretty much) we are not giving much time to its development. Sure we should but ...leave it no more talking!

The Linux Portal (2008)

A blog dedicated to Linux. Jointly maintained by me and my elder brother Avinash.
